
Following on from the Under 13's League win last season our under 14's team has won the Final of the Joe Jones Memorial Cup Final, after a convincing 7 - 1 over Penycae.
After a close first half which finished 1 - 1 with Penycae scoring with their only chance, the second half was all one way traffic, with Llay coming out 7-1 winners with goals coming from Ryan Fisher 3, Liam Fisher 2, Luke Bagnall 2.
To top an excellent night Ryan Fisher who has come close to beating the Llay United all time goal scoring record of 74 held by one Robbie Savage, was voted the charisma Trophies man of the Match

14th May - Rhosddu - Cup Semi Final
Rhosddu 1 - Llay 9
After a close first half in which Rhosddu took the lead against the run of play with a 35 yard free kick, Llay came back strong to lead 2-1 at half time. The second half was a different story with Rhosddu pushing forward looking for the equaliser, Llay continually broke through the defence to end the match 9-1 winners.
