Match Reports
Saturday 25th October Away v Llangollen Won 1 0 Scorer Jak P Won 5 0 Scorers Joe C3, Sam2, Man of Match Joe Crocombe The first game was a very tight game, not much scoring opportunities either end, but in the second half Jak came off the bench to score the winning goal. Second game was a little too easy, the score could have easy been about 12 or even 15, we could of done better if we had passed the ball a bit more, but the players enjoyed this one and that is what counts. Joe C got a tidy hat-trick and Sam did well today in setting Jak up in the first game and then getting 2 goals for himself. Alistair was tremendous again today, this lad has got potential, Jacob did not have to do much because Thomas and Jordan did a fine job at the back as usual, Greg joined us today after he has been absent because he has been playing for the Wrexham Schoolboys, well done Greg. Won 7 0 Scorers Alex4, Harry1,Charlie-1,Adam-1, Drew 0 0 Man of the Match Alex Purdie The first and second game, again the Lions did exceptional, they too could have scored a lot more, Alex could not stop scoring and even scored off a corner, Louis had 2 clean sheets today, Camerons work rate was great today, Charlie is developing quick and every game is improving, Jason and Luke where totally solid today, this pair does not let much go past them, Harry was the dominant force in centre midfield, also Adam had a fine game and capped it off with a goal. Again I have to say, Well done boys. Saturday 18th October Won 2 1 Scorers Sam, Joe C, Drew 1 1 Scorer Own Goal Man of the Match Thomas Moore Leopards played very well in the first game, but to concede a goal in the last kick of the game was very harsh as they dominated the game throughout. The second game was tough as they had to switch to a smaller pitch, but their keeper was exceptional today, so to come away with the draw was very hard on the boys. Won 2 1 Scorer Adam, Alex Won 2 1 Scorer Joe M, Own Goal Man of the Match Jason Spink Lions again have played brilliantly in both games to come away with 2 wins is fantastic. It goes to show that this squad of 2 teams are becoming 1 of the best squads in the Wrexham area. Well done boys and keep it up. 11th of October - Home v Brymbo Lodge 27th September - Home v Ruthin Rovers Llay Leopards Llay Lions |
